Trading Accounts Platform

A personal web platform for traders to manage multiple trading and prop-firm accounts in one place, with position analysis, custom trading rules and dashboards.

Problem

A trader with prop-firm accounts on different trading platforms has to switch between them to see positions, results and limits. There is no single place to compare accounts, review trades or check discipline against personal rules.

The idea is one web platform where a trader manages multiple accounts across platforms in one place, analyzes position details, defines their own rules and sees useful dashboards.

Architecture

A React and TypeScript web app talks to a Quarkus REST API secured with JWT. The API follows a controller, service and repository layout, with jOOQ and Flyway on PostgreSQL. A sync service fetches positions and orders from the connected trading platforms and stores them in the internal database, so every account across platforms is analyzed from the same data. Positions are aggregated into statistics, and each trade moves through a workflow from draft to opened to closed. A rules evaluator checks a trader's own rules against their results, and a decision flow editor stores per-user decision graphs. Platform connection credentials are stored encrypted.

My contribution

  • Designed and built the backend API and the web app end to end.
  • Modeled accounts, positions, trade workflow, rules and targets in PostgreSQL with Flyway migrations.
  • Implemented position statistics and analytics by week and month, such as win rate and profit and loss.
  • Built the configurable trading rules engine, for example win rate, position count, profit caps and non-trade days.
  • Built the trade workflow, checklists and the visual decision flow editor.
  • Built the platform sync that fetches positions and orders from trading platforms into the internal database, with encrypted connection credentials.

Outcomes

  • One place to track accounts, positions and results instead of switching between platforms.
  • Personal trading rules evaluated automatically against real results.
  • Dashboards and analysis for reviewing trading performance by period.
  • Data from several platforms lives in one internal database, ready for further analysis.
